Lake Garda
BEYOND LAKE GARDA (Trip 2)
Lake Garda in Northern Italy is known for its crystal-clear waters, At the South end the town of Sirmione is dominated by the Rocca Scaligera, a fortress with Harbour views.
We have added a Garda experience starting on July 21st the details can be found here or keep reading for the July 28th Trip.
Spend 3 days circumnavigating by bike the largest lake in Italy Lake Garda , this experience will be three days of amazing cycling around one of the most beautiful places on the planet.
We will enjoy cycling through lush olive orchards and fertile vineyards that produce world-famous oils and wines, as well as the spectacular sites that surround Lake Garda.
Not about speed or distance (Approx. 60/70 miles per day), this relaxing cycle is also about the stunning surroundings and we will have at least one night on the lake to enjoy a relaxing alfresco evening or food and wine (Limited amount of course).
There may be time for sightseeing around our destinations in the late afternoon/evenings, with so many old buildings and beautiful churches to look at, it will just enhance the experience of the trip, travel to these sites will be included but entrances fee's may be payable.
Or you can choose to sit in the sun and enjoy the local wine.
Day 1: Arrive In Italy (Overnight stay and prepare for the next day). (Wednesday 28th July)
Day 2: Ride to Lake Garda, cycle the western edge of the Lake towards Trento. (Thursday)
Day 3: Continue our ride to Trento and spend the evening in Trento (Friday)
Day 4: Ride from Trento along the Eastern side of the lake. (Saturday) (This is the biggest day of cycling, its flat and we have all day, so plenty of coffee and cake).
Day 5: Onward travel (Sunday 1st August)
Or you can choose to spend a few more days at Lake Garda.
Day 1: Relax by the Lake, use the paddle boards and collect the hire bikes ( for those hiring bikes).
Day 2: Ride towards and have Lunch Nr Brechia Castle, before cycling back along the western edge of the Lake, more relaxation and paddle boarding if required or you can swim in the pool. Total ride distance 123 km.
Day 3: Continue our ride to Trento and spend the evening in Trento. A late afternoon and Evening looking around Trento Old town.
Day 4: Ride from Trento along the Eastern side of the lake (This is the biggest day of cycling, its flat and we have all day, so plenty of coffee and cake).
We will ensure we stop at lots of interesting spots on Route.
Day 5: Onward travel (Sunday 1st August) Transfer back to Verona.
It is your responsibility to ensure you are at the start location for this experience.
This is in Italy, including your bike, Beyond Events do not organize your travel from your home destination to the start Location, although we can assist with transfers from Verona to Garda if required.
The total cost of the trip is £650.00 (Including all the booking fee's).
The initial payment through this webpage is a deposit of £200 (Plus the booking fee) this will then secure your place.
Further payments are due in staged intervals or you can pay the balance in full.

If there is a need to book flights, ferries or additional travel please contact us BEFORE you do this, the experiences have a limited number of entrants needed for the experience to take place, we will not be held responsible for any additional costs incurred booking these addition travel arrangements.

The standards, principles, and responsibilities of all our Staff and Guides are to respect, protect and preserve our planet. We expect all our entrants to abide to the same rules allowing us to take lifelong memories away with us but leaving only our footsteps behind.
It may be difficult to find rooms that you will have to yourself, this can be done but will include extra costs (single supplement).
Unless otherwise stated you will be sharing a room, we try extremely hard to ensure twin rooms, with single beds, this is not always possible in remote locations.
If you are coming with a friend or a companion to share the experience with, we will room you together if you inform us first.
Flights to Verona from all Major uk airlines.
We will transfer you and your bike from Verona to the Hotel
Bike hire is available in Garda if you dont want to travel with your own bike.
