BEYOND VUELTA A ESPANA
The 2021 VUELTA a ESPANA will take place from Saturday 14th August till Sunday 5th September 2021.
Join us and experience 3 full days of cycling on the same routes the pro cyclists will follow.
THE EXPERIENCE
In 2021 we will head to Spain and follow the riders as they compete in the first 3 stages of VUELTA a ESPANA.
The Spanish city of Burgos will host the 2021 grand depart of the Vuelta a Espana.
The renowned Cathedral of Burgos will turn 800 in 2021 and a series of events will be done to commemorate the special date. One of those will be the official departure of the Vuelta 2021.
This departure will be the first ever for the city in the Spanish grand tour and it and its province will host three stages. A total of 15 stages have started from Burgos and 17 have finished on its streets. The only stage to have taken place entirely in the Province of Burgos was an individual time trial in 2015 that was won by Tom Dumoulin.
AN APPROXIMATE ITINERARY:
Day 1: Arrive in BURGOS (Spain) and make your way to the hotel (Thursday 12th).
Day 2: Cycle around Burgos following the opening stage route. Individual time trial (Friday 13th)
Day 3: Cycle following the stage 2 route to be back in Burgos for the finish of the Pro’s. (Saturday 14th)
Day 4: Cycle from Burgos to Pico Blanco and watch the pro riders finish on the summit of this Col.
Day 5: Onward travel (Monday 16th August).
Or you can choose to spend a few more days in Spain.

TRAVEL TO THE START LOCATION:
It is your responsibility to ensure you are at the start location for this experience.
This is in Burgos, Beyond Events do not organize your travel from your home location, although we can assist with transfers if required. (Fee applicable).
TRIP COSTS:
The total cost of the trip is £640.00 (Including all the booking fee's).
The initial payment through this webpage is a deposit of £200 (Plus the booking fee) this will then secure your place.
Further payments are due in staged intervals or you can pay the balance in full.

On entering the experience, you will receive a booking confirmation email.

TRAVEL TO EXPERIENCES:
If there is a need to book flights, ferries or additional travel please contact us BEFORE you do this, the experiences have a limited number of entrants needed for the experience to take place, we will not be held responsible for any additional costs incurred booking these addition travel arrangements.

ACCOMODATION INFORMATION:
It may be difficult to find rooms that you will have to yourself, this can be done but will include extra costs (single supplement).
Unless otherwise stated you will be sharing a room and sometimes you may be in a dormitory of three (All of the same gender).
This is a very last resort we try very hard to ensure twin rooms, with single beds, this is not always possible in remote locations.
If you’re coming with a friend or a companion to share the experience with, we will room you together if you inform us first.
Flights to Madrid from Gatwick and then a 2 hour Journey by Vehicle.
