Race number 12 in the Clwydian Midweek Series is Moel Gyw.
A race of 3.5 miles in length, with 850ft of ascent - it's a very runnable course, and you’ll start from the hgih pass at Clwyd Gate - the highest point of the main road between Ruthin and Mold. The Offas Dyke Path is followed fromthe off, climbing at first, then you can settle into a nice rhytym as the gradient soon eases and loops aropund to the South. Just beofre Moel y Plas, a good path briongs you back and a quick 'out and back' to the summit of Moel Gyw will eventually bring you back to your initial ascent route and backto the finish.

PLEASE NOTE: Full body waterproof cover, and hat and glvoes may be needed as compulsory kit, at the discretion of the race organiser. A fully charged head torch is a requirement for this race.
