Beyond Jurassic trek

BEYOND JURASSIC TREK

Come and Journey along the Jurassic coastline from Lulworth cove to Exmouth.

A total distance of 62.5 miles / 100 km.

The Jurassic Coast is a World Heritage Site on the English Channel coast of southern England

The Jurassic Coast is made of Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous cliffs, spanning 185 million years of geological history, and we spend much of the trek walking along them.

Starting just south of Lulworth castle, we will follow the coastal path with many wonderful sights during our 4 day trek including Durdle door, Weymouth, Abbotsbury subtropical gardens , West Bexington  , West Bay made famous by the ITV drama Broadchurch, The simply stunning Lyme Regis, The quaint and often missed Budleigh Salterton all before we get to Exmouth itself.

Being part of a world heritage site, this trek has many stunning sights along the route (Far too many to list), but with a sea view for almost every step and a stunning view around every corner.

THE JOURNEY OF THE JURASSIC TREK

We think the trip is about more than just the Trek so we will take our time during the day and enjoy all that is around us.

There may be time for sightseeing around our destinations in the late afternoon/evenings, with so much beautiful coastline to look at (And all that surrounds it), it will just enhance the experience of the trip, travel to these sites will be included but entrances fee's may be payable.
