We have also now added a 5k and a 10 mile race
The base camp is the fabulous Lee Valley Caravan Park, Dobbs Weir site in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire.
There are a number of camping options including wigwams and glamping tents and there are a limited number of electric hook ups.
Camping in a tent will cost £16 per night based on 2 adults sharing, an additional £4 for electric if required.
Caravan or Motorhome £18 per night for 2 adults with electric, awning £2.
Dog £2, children aged 3-18 £2, children under three are free.
The marathons themselves will be two different routes which will be mainly offroad.
Each course will be marked out and maps will be available to download onto your GPS watches nearer the time.
There will also be a number of checkpoints along the way with water and other delicious goodies.
There will be a £2 charge by the caravan site for visitors on the day.
