Until 2017, The Reading Triathlon has been run and organised by the experienced events team at My Sporting Times (who also run the Tri2O Swim Centre) since its inception many years ago. Tri2O Triathlon Club took over the organisation of the event in 2017, with a mantra of running a great Tritathlon event, for traithletes, by triathletes.
The Reading Triathlon has three fantastic race options for you. We have a standard distance event, sprint distance and a sprint relay. New for 2020 we launch our inaugural Reading Aquathlon race.
The Triathlon takes in an open water swim in the lovely waters of the Tri2O lake, followed by a stunning cycle course around the local lanes of Burghfield, Mortimer and Grazeley, before finishing off with a run around the lakeside trail. Look out for our 110% cycle & run sections!
Our Aquathlon comprises of a 1km swim in the lake, followed by a 5.4km run around our lakeside trail.
We have reviewed our pricing structure for this year. We have reduced prices and put in place a tiered pricing strucure for the Triathlon, which means the earlier you register the less you pay.
The entry fee for our Aquathlon is just £18 this year.
Please Note: Due to refurbishment works to the Reading Lake Hotel we are unable to offer our VIP package this year.
