The Jurassic trail is not only a visually spectacular run along the Jurassic coast but also a challenge that some would class as undulating.
The run has four route options and dependent on your choice depends on how much of a challenge you will have.
Parking for all routes is at the Registration and finish area (Event centre), Which is located at Marsh Barn, West Bay.
The route will head West from West Bay and mostly follows the footpath all the way to seatown, its a tough route with plenty of effort needed to get up the hills.
But oh the views, for half the route you get a Westward view towards Lyme Bay, and once heading back toward West Bay, the View towards weymouth Bay is equally as superb.
All you need worry about is the running, the route will finish at Marsh Barn (The registration and parking area)
Part of the event is along the cliff path that runs from West Bay to Seatown, you are responsible for your own safety along this path, be mindful that its a cliff and run with caution.
At the aid station if you want a drink or something to eat you must stop and do so, this event is a challenge and not classed as a race, the minute it takes you to stop and hydrate correctly will enable you to complete the challenge in a timely manner.
