Jingle Bell Jog

Windermere & Ambleside Lions present - Jingle bell Jog!

Let’s paint the town red, green and white and kick off the festive season by getting the whole family dressed up as Santa’s, Elves, Reindeer, Christmas Puddings, Snowmen, Fairies – or anything Christmassy - and Walk, Jog or Run around a flat and scenic course in Bowness on Windermere!

The course is a flat and wheelchair / pram – friendly 2km loop starting and ending at the beautiful Cockshott Point - a peninsular overlooking Lake Windermere.

Entrants can choose on the day whether they complete 1 or 2 laps of the course.

Entry price is based on entrant age rather than the distance covered, and prizes will be awarded for the best dressed!
Christmas outfits are essential – and Santa Suits can optionally be purchased via our online entry system.

This event is open to all ages and abilities and you can run, jog, walk, jingle, push prams, or use a wheelchair on the flat, user friendly routes in Bowness. You have the choice of covering 2km or 4km starting and finishing on Cockshott Point overlooking the stunning Lake Windermere in the English Lake District.

It's the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit and a fun event for all the family to enjoy, and to raise money for worthwhile local charities.
