OPEN FOR ENTRIES FROM 1st DECEMBER 2019
For the 19th year, Kingfisher Triathletes will be running the Kingfisher Aquathlon race in Morden Park.
We are moving the race to the afternoon. Race starts from 15:00pm onwards.
Morden Leisure Centre is the venue for the 300m swim leg of the aquathlon. This is followed by a 9k trail run through the park with a finish in near the new Leisure centre
The Kingfisher Aquathlon has developed a reputation for its friendly atmosphere and great racing. The course is very well suited for novices, and experienced athletes will be challenged on the run especially. At the finish, the free for competitors Kingfisher homemade cake buffet will be waiting to refuel your energy supplies.
CHIP TIMING
Swim splits, run laps and run splits (incl T1) and finish times will be available.

Adult Standard distance race (17+): £24
- BTF members receive a £3 discount
- entry fees are excluding the online booking fee
SWIM: Pool and transition layout for all races. Pool length is 25m. Swim format is a 'snake' swim where competitors will start at intervals of 15 seconds. Swim each lane up and down then duck under the rope to the next lane. Adults Standard distance race swim 12 lengths of the pool, 300m total distance.
RUN: Below is the map of the run course for the Kingfisher Aquathlon. The total length of the loop is 2.25km. Competitors will run 4 loops (clockwise) for a total length of 9km. The run course is completely contained within the park and is traffic free. The run is a trail run, mostly on grass and paths and a short 150m stretch of new tarmac. Depending on the weather it may get muddy in some places.
