The New Forest is an area of southern England that includes New Forest National Park. The region is known for its heath-land, forest trails and native ponies.
What better place to experience trail running, regardless of experience, we actively encourage new runners to our events and with no cut offs all you need do is worry about being ready for the event.
The Half marathon or 21km is a run on wide metaled pathways through the heart of the new forest, its incased in woodland, no traffic and at this time of the year limited people (Other than our runners)
Think ancient woodland, beautiful heathland, and if your lucky enough to see them free-roaming ponies, donkeys, cattle and deer on your travels around the route.
Its a straight forward route which will be way marked for the whole route, with a couple of Aid stations along the way with water, energy drink and some tasty snacks.
This 21km route is achievable if you put a little training in, not because the route is difficult but its still 13 miles. However we dont really do cut offs (With in reason) so your more than welcome to come and have a go.
A great medal at the end awaits, and a special little momento of the run for all Half Marathon finishers.
