Welcome to the Flash Mob Run! It's back for its sixtgh year and as always it's going to be a challenge, but one we know you will enjoy.
In 2014, following a spontaneous Breaking Strain Events Facebook post, a group of nocturnal running enthusiasts gathered at the foot of the Pentland Hills ready to embark on a head-torch lit night run. It was no frills: just trail, rolling hills and some spooky forest and that's exactly how we like it still.
There are no gimmicks, you're not going to get electrocuted, the mud's not up to your armpits and we're not expecting you to get any wetter than that which is falling from the sky. The terrain is your obstacle. It may only be a shade over a 10K but don’t expect the course to be too easy; the Pentland Hills are steep, winter is coming and the trail goes ever up.
So dig out your head torch and come along and join us for this year's Flash Mob Run.
