ROUTES

Starting alongside Each other the Marathon and Half Marathon route will follow quite country roads passing through stunning villages, open countryside and plenty of different views to help you along your running adventure.

There are no major hills on the 10 km route (They are small slopes), it’s a straight out and back 5 km each way with no junctions on the route (2.5 km turn for the 5km route), so no slowing of pace, there will be an Aid station at the turn point to help you fly home.

5 km (Course record 2018 Ross Wayne and 00:22:48 and Grace Morrison 00:29:49)

 

Trophies will now be available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for Male and Female.

We will also include age group placings (No prizes) for all runners.

(only for entries through our webpage, third party entries will not be included in the age groups).

EACH RUNNER WILL RECIEVE:

  • Post-race refreshments (Available to purchase)

 

EVENT CENTRE:

The event centre location will include

  • Free parking
  • Toilets (Real toilets)
  • Pre and Post event massage and taping (Fee payable)
  • Hot and Cold drinks and small snacks (Fee payable)

 

SPECIFIC EVENT INFORMATION

Registration will be from 0730 – 0945

The MARATHON event will start at 0900

The HALF MARATHON event will start at 0900

The 10km event will start at 1000

The 5km event will start at 1000

There will be a small safety brief on the start line just before the race begins, if you miss the briefing you will not be able to compete.

 

MORE INFORMATION:

Whether you’re setting yourself a fitness target, raising money for your good cause or just coming to join the hundreds of other runners who are running for their own goals, you know you can also run just for fun.

(The event is limited of 500 runners over all the distances).

 

AFTER ENTERING:

On entering the event you will receive a booking confirmation email.

If you don’t receive it, please check your Spam/Junk folder.

Further event details will be sent to your registered email address before the event.

Event updates will arrive approx. 1 month before an event, but everything you need to know is contained with these event pages.

 

FANCY HELPING AT AN EVENT:

We always welcome volunteers at our events so if you fancy joining the team for the day or even a few hours at registration or with parking, please get in touch. You will be rewarded for your efforts and will be able to choose an event to enter for free, that’s any event and any distance.

You don’t need to help at a Sportive, if you help at any of our events, running, cycling, triathlons you can enter multiple events for free. (Dependent on time given).

Directions

From the East follow the M3 and M27, journey times from the M25 are in the region of 2 – 2.5 hours.
From the West follow the M5 and then the A30 onto the A35, Journey times from Exeter are about 1 Hour.
From the North follow the M5 till Taunton and then the A358 to chard, From Taunton is approx an hour.



REGISTRATION OPENS AT 0730
Sign your name and collect your number and safety pins (YOUR NUMBER GOES ON THE FRONT)

REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT 0945
No exceptions, if your late, you will not be able to run.
