Hard run with the elevation but well organised for this size of event, Friendly atmostphere some good scenery.

If you want a bit more from a half marathon then this is the one for you! It’s a challenging course with some brutal hills, especially at the end!!

A tough course for sure, but great atmosphere
My first half-marathon, nice and friendly but with a few killer hills.

For my first half marathon, felt there was a lot of tough hills. Good test though.

The friendliest marshalls and a challenging route!
You need to be aware that this is a pavement race - the roads are not sealed off for you. But it is not that big a deal as long as you watch where you tread. Not a course for PBs!
Very well organised
I was a little sceptical about running a big run on the pavements with no road closures but I shouldn’t have been. It was so well organised and marshalled.

Great offer of jelly babies at 9 miles - Perhaps also needed at 11 to be ready for the hill at 12 miles.
Friendly atmosphere all round.
