More advertising so more people get involved. A lot of people I know knew nothing. About it

Good marshalling throughout the course; all were very encouraging and friendly. Great scenery and venue for future 10k events. I felt the beginning with the guy on the bike was a bit amateurish - it's difficult to be too critical as he meant well and was trying to help. For future events, I'd either incorporate a local runner to lead the way, perhaps giving someone free entry and/or place arrows/markers. Also, felt that the signage for the registration was non-existent. If you've not been to the venue before, signage can make a difference. The event itself was good value for money and had a less formal feel, which I liked.

Maybe an extra water station half way round the lake.

A tech t-shirt would've been nice. I'd happily pay a few pound more to receive one rather than a cotton one :-)

These events are ideal times for organisers to join with companies - companies can advertise their merch or food stuffs by offering free samples and runners get to enjoy a goody bag and give more kudos to the organisers.
