Shame about the weather!

Consider social media presence to boost awareness of a great event! Thanks to all the organisers and event marshalls.

A deceptively tough end-of-season sportive!

Have now completed at least 9 Legs of Steels. Always a great event, enhanced in my opinion by the move away from Box Hill; and the de Vere site is ideal and much appreciated by all.

The appalling weather was not your fault! I adopted "safety first" tactics, got round without mishap (unlike quite a few I saw), non-stop, worst time ever, but still better than skulking at home! Still cleaning the bike!

Lovely, well organised event - shame weather was not on our side

Had to take short route as it was to wet and windy for myself. Really enjoyed this was a less big more private event with very friendly and open organisers. Will give it another go next year

Wet but fun

Today was really fun despite the weather. I rode with a friend who’s a non member. Her comments throughout were very complimentary from the discount code, the friendliness of the marshals, the clear signage, the route, the venue, the charitable purpose &, of course, the goody bag. Great work team!

Well run by very pleasant happy staff despite the atrocious weather conditions.

Maybe some GIVEWAY ahead signs would be good but otherwise fab event.

Superb end of season test

Maybe make it slightly clearer at the top of staples lane that you have to retrace your route shortly, I Was concerned about having to do another lap if I had got it wrong!
Reason for saying maybe to friendly to beginners, is purely for the route, it's pretty lumpy!

Short but sharp!

Great event. Just 80km but lots of sharp hills. Great fun and great organisation by Ful-On Tri and partners.

Beautiful, Friendly but challenging route

At times it was hard to see the signposts and easy to go the wrong way. Can the arrows be on bigger signs? Or more volunteers helping to direct? But overall: excellent

Excellent event, done it 4 years running, could do with some extra signage prior to some of the sudden turns as would be easy to miss

The route is great, but beginner cyclists who try the 80km probably see the distance and think it's fine, but aren't aware of how hard some of the climbs are. Great event though!
