The 3SIX12 is a brand new 12-hour xc mtb endurance race hosted at Newnham Park in Plymouth Devon on the weekend of the 26-28th July 2024

The weekend kicks off on Friday 26th July with the campsite opening from 11am, there will be children's races and a entry on the day short track race in the evening. Saturday. brings the main event starting at 11am through until 11pm.

The format is simple, you can choose from a range of solo race options on all of the time options or pair/team options on the six and twelve-hour races. under 16 can enter the 6-hour pairs and 3-hour races only. The clock stops at the respective race time, anyone lucky enough to cross the line in time can complete an extra lap to extend their final position. 

This year we will be hosting the Exposure lights 12 & 6 hour solo national championships which will run as part of the race. All solo riders are automatically entered into the champs on sign up.

Solo categories are as follows

12 Hour

16-39 and 40+

3 and 6 hour

13-39 and 40+

Solo categories will be assigned to you based on your age and gender. 

Pairs and teams

Same age categories as solo but there is the option to race as a male or female only team or there is a mixed category where any age or gender can pair or team up. These categories will be assigned closer to the event so please make sure that you enter your correct details on sign up. 

Expect a good sized xc loop around the beautiful Newnham Park that will allow you to take in views of both Dartmoor and Plymouth, the course will have a mixture of single track, fire road, and open field sections and of course, a route directly through the campsite area so your teams, friends and family can cheer you on whilst you are on course.

The camping is free to all competitors from lunchtime Friday until noon Sunday. There will be an event village with a range of different caterers and Exhibition stands, Additional camping for non competitors will also be available at sign on.

The race will be digitally timed and live timing will be available so you can check at any time what your position is. Showers and toilets will be on site and there is also mains drinking water.

Please note that we are not offering an E-bikes class and they will not be permitted on site, anyone riding one will be asked to leave the course.
