Aberfoyle Trail Half Marathon

Taking place on 12th October 2024, the second edition of the sell out Aberfoyle Trail Half Marathon will be taking place again in the stunning town of Aberfoyle. 

This autmnal challenge takes in a fantastic mix of forest track, single track trails and a short section of tarmac in the first km...You will experience the orange glow of the forests as the trees begin their autumnal cycle, vast views of the surrounding mountains - including Ben Lomond and trails that hug the lochside. 

This is a half marathon that is truly easy on the eye but offers a fine challenge along the way with 350m elevation across the 21.4km crouse.

The event HQ is located in Aberfoyle Memorial Hall just off the main street and a 2 minute walk from the start finish area in the Riverside Car Park.
