Kudos to the lovely marshals, I think I was better off running it than standing around in some of those positions.

The marshals did an amazing job in very cold blustery conditions. They were great at encouraging you to keep going. One marshal told me where I was in the women's race which spurred me on.

The wind was storm force but the course was well marshalled

Thank you all so much. Lovely, friendly atmosphere, great marshals, spectacular views en route. Loved the cheering at the end with a mince pie and mulled wine. Will definitely be back.

Live monitoring was great, but a little inconsistent. One every mile on the mile or at least one on the 5 mile mark for the family and friends monitoring.

Really well organised event. Definitely not easy, but great fun nonetheless.

I think this run was my hardest so far! With the strong winds and the hills I was struggling! It's a fantastic run for views, well organised and great volunteers cheering us on all the way round!
