Found the whole experience to be great. Organised well, lots of locals out in the streets supporting runners with encouragement and sweets. Loved it, will be back.

This was my 10th time doing this race - really enjoyed it
It would be nice if there were more categories for the results - this is one of the only local races that doesn’t split into categories for men or women - I am at present 64 but my results come up with the senior women - such a shame not to have more specific categories - I will shortly be going into the 65-69 age group, Its nice to see how you do compared to others of a similar age

Great value, great volunteers, great fun.
Thoroughly enjoyable - well organised, friendly, great atmosphere throughout. Only small gripe is lack of cubicles in (men's) toilets - slow moving queues in every stand.

An excellent event inviting the best from runners and supporters alike.
Water stations were a bit chaotic.
Need more cups ready to go and spread either side of the road and/or over more tables if possible. Water was also very cold so harder to drink. Parking and marshalling was excellent. Great route, although would be good to take in more of the city if possible like the South side.

It’s been 9 years since I last took part in Colchester Half Marathon. It’s incredible to see how far it’s come and how much the community get involved ! It felt amazing to have so much support. ONLY down side I will mention is there could have been an extra water station or two. I didn’t feel like there was enough . But we survived so all is well :D

Brilliant communication. A fantastic local event. Disappointed there was no finisher t-shirt this year.
Hope the lady in the car who disregarded the road closures has been dealt with appropriately by the authorities

Fantastic event. The support along the way is great!
The only thing I noticed which was different to previous years is that there weren’t flags in the start funnels to highlight where the pacers were placed.
It would also be great to have a few snacks on some or one of the water stops. But I completely appreciate these cost lots of money!
