The Essex Vets XC Champs will take place on Saturday 2nd December and will be at Writtle University, Lordship Road, Chelmsford, CM1 3RR.
We will be taking online entries only and there will be no entries on the day. We will also be using chip timing to provide a fast results service. Results will be available HERE
ENTRIES WILL CLOSE ON SATURDAY 25TH NOVEMBER
The race format will be the same as last year in that the women will have their own race. Everyone will run the same course which will be 8k. The timetable is as follows:
10:00am – Race 1 – Men V50+
10:50am – Race 2 – Women V40+
11:40am – Race 3 – Men V40-49
Individuals medals will be awarded in 5 year age categories up to V70 and team medals in 10 year age categories (4 to score per team)
All runners must be EA affiliated and Essex qualified. The entry fee remains the same as last year at £8 per runner.
Slower runners should note that races will start on time and therefore there is a possibility, depending on the course layout that faster runners may overtake as the next race starts.
