Pan flat, beautiful route, super friendly marshall’s, well organised, ideal choice of distances!
Great that it is an early 8am start. Much appreciated the free photo’s (I run to fundraise) as well as a great goody bag and buff (useful) vs T-shirt (I have way too many and don’t need more). Easy to get to and park. Ideal timing for spring marathons (Boston in my case). Thank you again to all the organisers.

Loved this event as always.
As always a few more toilets would be useful but ut really wasn't too bad. Marshals were plentiful end enthusiatsic.

A lovely 20-mile event
A bit early! But admittedly not helped by the clocks going forwards.
Good to see this race back. A must for all those who want a 20 miler before their marathon

Friendly, scenic, well-organised run with a nice atmosphere (bit lonely on that 2nd lap though)
Nice location and the 8-mile laps offer a decent route. I must admit the 2nd lap was a bit lonely though, as the running crowd thinned and the regular walkers and visitors increased. I kinda guess this year's event wasn't as well attended as previous years, so I don't think the 16-mile race was particularly busy. Also, it might've been unfortunate timing but having the event on the day the clocks went forward made it a brutally early start. Apart from that, all good

Good flat course, perfect for PBs. Well organized and a nice route, mostly following the Thames.
Some road sections can be a little daunting for the unexperienced runner.

It would be good to have water bottles on route rather than plastic cups, so you can run and sip water at the same time.

Really enjoyed the race. Flat and beautiful route with plenty of friendly and encouraging marshalls throughout the route.
Wished the medal was a little more spectacular!
