Great run (my 3rd time!)
Good flat half marathon with nice river setting and modest attendance. Limited crowds and could do with more closed roads.
Why not cut out the first 2 mile loop and extend the route up the river to Teddington Lock instead. I didn't the residential bits that much. Lots of corners, curbs, parked cars etc take their toll after a while. Would be much nicer to stay closer to the river for longer.

Great route, great organisation, great set up.
I have ran this 3 times before and 1 of the the reasons I like this half is because you're given a really decent T-shirt. There was no T-shirt this year which I'm super upset about. However saying that it's still my favourite course just sad I've no T-shirt this year.

Lovely race really - can't complain as I high-fived Henry VIII and got a PB to boot!
Goodie bag was VERY disappointing though: 3 rubbish sachets and two postcards?! What was the point in that? There was meant to be some kind of alcohol free beer in there according to the website but that never happened.
And no finishers' tee-shirt??? :-(
Otherwise good event though.
Fun event with a friendly crowd and good bling
I was a bit circumspect about the roads not being closed, but after the first couple of km, when the pack thinned out, it wasn't a problem at all. Nice and flat, well sign-posted and very well organised.

Fast, flat, scenic. You wont find a flatter course definitely a PB course. Well organised, will be back. The high five from Henry the eighth was a bonus :)

All the staff working in the tents were really helpful and friendly . I was aiming for a sub 2 hours time . I ran for a lot of the race with the 2 hours pacer . He was brilliant , he kept me motivated when I was struggle to keep up and encourage everyone along the way . I thoroughly enjoyed the event . The free downloadable pic was also a nice touch .
