Brilliant as always

My third H&T event and as always from Hare and Tortoise perfectly organised and signposted with a super friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Just keep doing what you’re doing!

You smashed it as always #dreamteam

I would’ve liked it if Mick had stuck to his commitment and parachuted me in from a helicopter with laser beams through the gun smoke

Fantastic event

Well organised event, great atmosphere. The H&T team are brilliant.

I've run this event twice now and it feels like an appropriate way to mark Remembrance day. The event starts after the last post, a silence, the reveille and a gun shot from the 7th Parachute Regiment Royal Horse Artillery. Then we all stopped at 11am to observe 2 minutes silence. Very respectfully done.

On a practical level, good signage, nice route, lots of snacks and amazing medals.

Amazing first event with this organiser

Would highly recommend, very relaxed atmosphere, supportive and encouraging. It’s not often that you feel everyone taking part recognises the effort of everyone else. Super friendly event. Well done to the organisers for creating such a welcoming atmosphere

Friendly, well organised, and Freddo Frogs at the end!!!!

The people who run these events have got it spot on - it feels like a valid, worthy race if that's what you're interested in, but the slower runners get huge amounts of encouragement too. Super friendly organisers and participants. For the Remembrance run, the gun salute and piper add a huge amount of gravitas and make it feel very special. And of course, the medal designs are amazing.

Another fabulous event from the H&T team. The touches of the last post, gun salute and two minutes silence mid race and of course a stunning medal as always meant a special event to take part in. Pete and Bev are so friendly & really make you feel welcome

Fantastic

Loved this run , so respectful with the army charity being present, the last post being played, and the two minute silence out on the course at 11am .
Beautiful medal and great snacks .

A great run

It was a tough 10.7 k loop...but the scenario was fabulous and there was a great atmosphere and community feel.

Great organisation, lovely course and fab medal

A really well organised event with the added bonus of knowing you are supporting such a fantastic charity, The Airborne Gunners Trust.

Everyone is so welcoming and supportive and the fuelling station was great as was the medal. The views over the river on the course are beautiful and take your mind off that long stretch along the sea wall!

This was my second H&T event and I will certainly be booking some more.

Well organised and amazing medal!

Love the H&T events as so well organised, great support with fab fuelling stations and topped off with the best medals.
I saw this as an opportunity to run my first half marathon and although Brightlingsea is a challenging course and I love the no pressure approach. Far more enjoyable than a normal start and finish line half marathon.

A wonderful friendly event

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. What topped it off, being an veteran, to hear the last post being played before the start of the run was just brilliant and the young lady should be very proud of herself
