Next Race: 27/02/2022
hilly and windy. Scenic informal racing
Water cups are really hard to drink out of when running, made me cough a lot. Mini water bottles are much better!
Great scenery. Brutal last mile. Great goody bag.
Shame about the mix up with numbers. Think it might have been slightly over half distance too.
A fun and well-run event.
Maybe specify not the best race for beginners as some pretty tough hills! Course measured long on my Garmin at 21.51km - appreciate hard to measure distance accurately as there are various ways to run the trail. Further comment - position of mile 5 marker off by 400m (early) - one to watch out for.
Good atmosphere, friendly organisation and well-run. I'll definitely be back!
A well-organized run in a great venue
Thanks to all the volunteers!
Very good race, great to have such a hilly course in London
I would advise using paper cups rather than plastic and have bins after each water station (c 100m)
Great to run a race on home course and tough and honest conditions. Would definitely do another one.
A scenic challenge for a Sunday morning with motivated people all around!
Well organised event, decent course - challenging in parts, appreciated the encouragement from the stewards!
Everything was all right except some carbohydrates(for examples gels or energy bars) to buy before race
Great event, great value for money
Beautiful run across a mixture of terrains.
Lots of easy spots for family and friends to watch.
Lovely inaugaural event.
I really enjoyed todays event. There were a couple of points on the course where more marshals would have been helpful. I would be surprised if there weren't any runners who made a slight detour!
Well organised, quite challenging trail half marathon in a beautiful setting
Great race - well organised. Really enjoyed it
The first of many at Richmond I hope!
First class event - superbly organised, amazing route, we absolutely loved it and we had a bit of luck with the weather
Bring on the next one !
A good event, but rather small.
The miles markers were not accurate, and even by sticking to the route throughout, I ran 13.44 miles.
The organisers were lovely and the support was great.
Loved it....had a bit of everything!
Bit hilly, bit breezy but beautiful views!
Some of the marshalls had got bored by the time the last runners went past, so weren't really on the ball with manning drinks stations, etc. I know the weather was terrible and, as a volunteer marshall myself, I know it can be a bit dull and you get cold, but it would have been nice to have had a bit more engagement towards the end of the course.
