The event itself is held as a tribute of remembrance, but as it takes place on open public roads under permit, we are not permitted to pause the event mid-flow for a formal silence. That said, your point about creating a more defined moment of reflection at the finish is well taken, and we will look carefully at how we can mark it more clearly in future years.
