Great course, plenty to see with a variety of terrains under foot. Helpful and encouraging Marshalls, aid station well stocked and drinks readily available. Who wouldn’t want to be presented with cake at the end!!

My third ZigZag event and the organisation before the events, during the events and after the runs were finished, medals, refreshments and cake were amazing .
The organisers and especially the volunteers should be commended for what they do, standing in the cold and damp thank you all

My first experience of Zigzag events as I tend to lean towards bigger events. Absolutely loved this, value for money, simple easy to follow directions, great atmosphere and encouragement from everyone including other runners. Definitely be back for more.

Free cake, sweets & hot drinks - what more is there to say?!
No there is more to say! The organisers are so friendly and supportive, you can tell it’s a running event ran by runners!
All participants were lovely too, saying well done as they ran past! It was a no pressure event where everyone was celebrated from 5k to 100k!
I will be back!

Good atmosphere and relaxed vibe.
Good for all abilities and is laps so also good for runners of different paces or distances to get together and run their own race then meet up. Had a lovely run and instructions nice and clear.
Better if the cake and drink queue at the end was separate though as the drinks were slow to make. Or if separate queues for the ‘slow to make’ drinks like hot chocolate pods and the ‘quick to make’ ones like instant coffee out the urn.

Fantastic event!
My first ZigZag run. Brilliant event. All the perks of an organised run but less people and stress. All the Marshalls and organisers were super friendly. The route was lovely. The tent with food and drink was a lovely unexpected treat. Love the zigzag merch and bought a lush hat!
