Although it attracts fast club runners there is a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for runners of all abilities. After losing touch with the 6.45 mins per mile pack, I ran with the 7.00 pack before running solo at 7.25 before a couple of strategic runners overtook me at the end.

Fast field with large contingent of club runners. More of a race than a fun run, so not one I'd recommend for beginners. At 53 mins for 10k I was one of the last group of finishers.

I would have liked a medal to add to my collection

This is a delightful event. Mix of runners from recreational to more serious club runners. Beautifully organised and a very supportive marshals.

Maybe a bit more water/juice/SIS drink on hand! Either way, awesome event and heaps of fun for a Saturday morning!

Hot tea at the finish is a real treat in cold conditions.

It was a shame the timing was not working but appreciate this was out of your control- hand timing seemed a little off from what my watch was saying. Lovely to get a medal/ prize for placing.

The Team have been doing this for years, their organisation is slick, the course is really enjoyable, etc etc. Put colloquially, 'it ticks all of the boxes'. Well done and a HUGE THANK YOU to you all.
