THE SWASHBUCKLER TRIATHLON

The start, transition and finish are all based in the historic Bucklers's Hard, a hamlet on the banks of Beaulieu River famous for its shipbuilding. The 1.9km swim is in the stunning Beaulieu River. The 90km cycle ride is through the stunning New Forest where wild animals roam free and the 22km run is through quiet lanes and river coastal paths.
We also offer a standard distance triathlon: 1100m swim, 40km bike, 11km run. If you don't fancy doing all three, there is an Aquabike event (1900m swim and 90km bike) or spread the load by choosing our relay option.
Ideal event for quick times, first timers, family times and GB Age group qualifying times! Awesome medal, finishers t-shirt and post event food!

Want to become a Challenging Events Marshal? Volunteers take on many important tasks, from car parking, helping on registration, marshalling out on the course to running a water stop. Marshalling is a super fun day out and without your support to help us deliver the best possible event, our events just wouldn't be able to run. You really can make a huge difference!
Each event is different but you will have a dedicated manager to brief you on your duties and look after you throughout the day. Timings will vary from event to event. We will provide you with a high visibility vest so that you are seen to be part of our event.
And as a thank you, we will send you a free entry code to use against any of our events. We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to our Challenging Events family!
