Great scenery, encouraging marshals and the best beer in Surrey as a reward!

Brilliantly marshalled race across the Chart - 150m of elevation through woodlands, and helpfully more downhill in the second half.

Great course and very well marshalled.

We couldn't hear any of the announcements at the beginning. The pen system didn't work, we chambered over the tape. Very annoying that slow runners who want to talk while they run go in the faster pens at the front!

I found that the announcements at the beginning of the race difficult to hear because of the background noise from the generator.

Well organised event. Great encouraging marshalls on the course. Challenging course with some hills but nothing that should put of newbies. Will be back next year fir Third time.

A few more direction arrows in the woods would be good and a couple of the marshals in slightly wrong place, a couple of times found it unclear where to go, and no results.
Overall a great run and will be back and would recommend to others, thank you

Love this race - a real mix of ups and downs, through forests, down paths and through fields. A good amount of mud this year...but, not too much. Well organised and friendly and helpful volunteers. A great local event for keen and amateur runners alike.

Great Marshall’s!

1.Need better loud-speaking arrangements - too hard to hear
2.The timing divisions did not work well - ended up in 48 to 60 and was held up. Needs a pen 48 - 55 then 55 - 60 - look at numbers finishing in these slots.
3.Marshalling was great.

Apart from the parking issues cant fault the organisation, I came last but i didn't care because the scenery was great & the marshalls were so friendly, Beginner friendly course.

Fabulous location, great challenge, wonderful organisation and very friendly event. Plenty of Marshall’s to help you on your way round, great t - shirts and medal.
