This was my first time doing the White Horse Half. I was a little nervous with the 2.5hr cut-off, thinking the race would be full of elite runners, but there was a really nice mix of abilities on the day. The route itself is really nice through the countryside, but I found it mentally really tough as (understandably given the route and race size) there aren't many supporters, and without being allowed to use headphones (even bone-conducting), it became quite lonely and hard. (As a side note, I did see some runners using headphones, which was really frustrating to those of us which had adhered to the rules.)

This is a perfect event for people training for a bigger race later on in the year, well organised and a friendly atmosphere .

I think a medal would have been a better finishing prize than a mug but maybe that just me

Brilliant scenery and a very friendly atmosphere. Plenty of nearby parking. Limited refreshments locally so come prepared.

Race HQ and The Start were a fair distance apart as was the finish from the car park and Race HQ. Apart from that the event seemed well organised and was a very nice course to run. Personally a medal would have been preferred over the mug but that's just my personal preference. Thank you for a great morning.

1st time running it and I loved it. The weather was great, lovely sunny day, the organisation was very good clear and detailed instructions were sent out and the marshalls on the course were very friendly and lovely! Ohh and great mug at the end!!

It would have been great not to have cars around, otherwise all good!

Very good, but too far between the parking, race hq and start - i walked almost 5km before the race. Would be easier to move the race hq to the rugby club
