Dorney Lake

A flat marathon consisting of 10 out and back laps of the private driveway through the nature reserve at Dorney Lake. All finishers will receive a medal and a stack of chocolate. Dorney Lake is a world class venue for rowing events. Our event will be somewhat less grand and held on land not water. However, in our opinion and based on regular experience, this is a great venue for a long run.

We have arranged exclusive use of the driveway through the nature reserve for the day, which increases the cost of this event but does mean that the flat road surface is free from any other users of the estate, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery.
The race will start at 09.30 with a 7 hour cut off.

We will also have a small number of entries available in a 6 hour challenge event starting at the same time for those that wish to join us for a shorter or longer run, each lap is 2.62 miles and you can run as many or as few as you wish in the 6 hour limit (you cannot start a lap after this time but you can complete a lap that you have started even if your finish time is a little over 6 hours).
