Creating a results template to suit your event is important to reflect the kind of race you are hosting, particularly if participants are uplaoding results themselves.
On the left hand column, select results, and from the drop down click on Results Templates. Here, you will be able to click on 'Manage Template' with the green button on the right of the Activities template.
The standard fields on the results template indicate the fields which a participant will see when filling out the form.
Navigate down to Customised fields, and edit the type of activity you would liek your participants to submit results about. Here, you can edit the format of response you would like people to enter, with multiple fields if desired. For example, timing for a run, or number for number of exercise reps, or laps of a course.
Once you have customised your fields to match the activity, your participants will be able to edit the way in which they add their results accordingly.
