Active in Autumn

It’s Good 2 Give officially came to life in April 2010 to support young cancer patients and their families in real and practical ways.

As well as offering day to day support to those impacted by cancer, It's Good 2 Give operate the Ripple Retreat – a purpose-built, restful, safe place on the shores of Loch Venachar in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park for those young cancer patients and their families.  The award-winning Retreat allows families to use it for a short break together away from doctors, procedures, hospitals, and just enjoy their time together.

On October 1st It's Good 2 Give launch their first annual “Active in Autumn” event.   Active in Autumn is a virtual challenge that can be run, walked, cycled, hopped, kayaked from any location you choose.  You get to run your own distance, at your own pace, building your mileage as you go.

Due to Covid-19, all charities are struggling as their pipeline to fundraising events has dried up due to restriction on hosting live events. The Active in Autumn event is a means to generate a little bit of fundraising to support the work that It's Good 2 Give do whilst encouraging people to get moving to support their physical, mental and emotional health.
