Great 5/ 10 mile race made particularly challenging this year by the weather.
As always with Sporting Events UK, superb organisation, marshalling and atmosphere. It's a scenic, challenging course and was especially tough this year due to the torrential rain and very wet conditions underfoot, which made the off-road section almost like a X-C ! Although it's not something that will ever affect me personally (understatement !), there were very generous cash prizes on offer to the winners of both the 5 and 10 mile races. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Hilly but good fun
The marshals on this race were amazing, especially with the weather conditions. The route was very hilly and flooded in places but made a good challenge. Great medal as always. Also great facilities, no queues for the toilets!

Horrendous weather, lakes in the road but loved every minute of it. Thank you to all the organisers and marshals. I'll no doubt be running it again next year.

My second event with you and once again cannot fault it,everything well sign posted from parking car to getting bib etc,have to say marshalling and other staff were fantastic,lots of encouragement and support, it really does motivate you to dig a bit deeper,well done to you all!

Despite the awful weather fab atmosphere Superb organisation. Many marshals were dressed up to add to the event. Brilliant medal.

Why the banning of ear buds and rather aggressive questioning after finishing the race?
I was questioned Are these needed for a medical reason! ?
I showed my medical bracelet and this appeased the questioner, but would like to know why this is an issue?
Lovely rural run
This was my first organised run and what a great run it was. Great organisation, great atmosphere and great medal. Cannot wait for next year
