I highly recommend this run. Its a great course. The marshals are high spirited, today we had a lady making balloon flowers

Not a flat course and due to weather was super slippery, but that added to the challenge.

Such great organisation, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Loved it. Tea and cake topped it off nicely. The loops made a half marathon less intimidating too. Will definitely book up again.

This was my first zig zag event and will definitely be signing up for more!

Would be improved with some distance markers on the laps.

Marshalls were super friendly, staff on the main stall and in the registration hut were too.

First time I’ve done one of these and I was extremely impressed. Well organised, hassle free and a friendly, helpful team. Great route and the marshals were fantastic. Brilliant medal ( definitely no scrimping there!) , great selection of goodies for during the race and coffee and cake was outstanding!
I appreciate that you can’t “mile mark” due to the varying distances being run, but would it be possible to have a single “1km to the start line” marker towards the end? Would save my poor mental maths - especially with the “ bonus distance “ on each lap

Zigzag events are fantastic with very impressive bling,very tasty choices of cake(and hot drink) and different courses/routes to give plenty variety

Everyone is so friendly, organised so well for any first time runners at the event with good easy to follow waypoints not to mention when you finish lovely bit of cake and hot drink

Would have enjoyed a seamless continuation of distance if you feel up to it, carry on within the time. I carried on but with zero data

It would be nice to have more trail off road running as running on hard ground caines the legs. Well organised great staff had a great day!

My first Zig Zag event (i think!). Enjoyed the route and was an easy event logistically (little faff). Very good events for beginner / slower runners i think. Definitely felt like there was no pressure, which is nice. Good coffee and cake afterwards and a decent medal too. So many local races scrimp on medals, but for many of us, it's an important part of an event.

Fantastic races organised by the best in the business. It is very clear to see that Zig zag work incredibly hard to make sure their events are welcoming, run smoothly, and fun for runners of all abilities. The events take place at some beautiful locations, easy to get to with good parking and facilities. Brilliant marshals, well signed routes and a fab race-day experience. Highly recommended!

Zoe, Steve, Martin. Emily all the Marshalls and the whole Zig Zag family should be incredibly proud of what they have all achieved in 2024.
And this event was a perfect way to end a wonderful year of running with just really, really good people.
Have a well deserved rest and in 2025: We go again!
