Join the fight against bowel cancer as you take to the trail at Bolt Round the Holt, and with every tantilising twist and turn, with every step, raise valuable funds for GUTS.

Event Overview:
This stunning race explores the sun-dappled tracks and trails that weave through Alice Holt Forest. And, whilst you're wending your way beneath the forest canopy and enjoying the buzz of a super race-day, you'll also be helping to raise valuable funds for GUTS, a fantastic organisation working to improve bowel cancer survival. Refreshments are available on site and the race always attracts super support and crowds that help cheer our runners as they cross the finish line. The event has become the charity’s biggest fund raising event and in its 1a year history it has so far raised nearly £100,000 for them. 

Course Details:
This family friendly, traffic free cross-country running event is entirely off-road and explores the stunning Alice Holt Forest in Farnham. The undulating route uses a captivating 5k forest trail with half marathon runners completing four laps, 10k runners two laps and 5k runners a single lap. There will be a water station located at the start of each lap.

All about GUTS
GUTS stands for Guildford Undetected Tumour Screening, fighting bowel cancer.
1 in 8 of us will suffer from bowel cancer during our lifetimes. In the UK, 120 people receive a bowel cancer diagnosis every day and annually, this awful disease claims around 17000 lives. Diagnosed at its earliest stage, there is a 90% chance of survival. GUTS is a charitable organisation working hard to improve bowel cancer survival through early detection and treatment. They work towards this goal by funding equipment and facilities to improve care, screening and detection, by supporting research into the disease and raising awareness around causes and prevention.

And so, your participation in Bolt around the Holt is helping them achieve amazing things. However, as your entry fee covers the cost of the event, they ask if you could please raise as much as you can for this very worth while cause so that they can continue their hard work.
