Can I ride my e-bike?

Yes - off-road e-bikes are welcome but you will need to have a second battery as there will be no charging points when we stay over in the middle of the desert

Gravel or mountain bike, which is best?

To be frank it’s a pretty even choice between a mountain bike and a gravel/cyclocross bike. There are sections where an MTB has a definite advantage over a gravel bike and vice versa.

How fit do I need to be?

You'll need to be able to ride comfortably for 2 hours off-road at a steady pace.

What are the paths like?

Most of the off-road routes are pretty decent, however, be prepared for some stretches that may be more overgrown/technical than others.

Is food included in the cost

No, everyone has different requirements, we will be stopping at cafes and shops en route where you can stock up with what you need/want/crave for.

Will I get get a GPX file?

Yes, GPX files for each day will included in the Rider Info pack emailed to all riders the week before the ride starts.

Can I hire a gravel bike ?
