Stunning course matched by excellent organisation.
I can't praise the organisation of this event highly enough - every detail seems to be taken care of from the moment you enter until after you cross the finish line. The warm-up was brilliant and the support from well-wishers around the course was tremendous. I intend to be back next year.
Great scenery
I really enjoyed the course despite the up hill sections! They were tough, but it was very satisfying to reach the top of the Trundle and experience the amazing views, particularly as the weather was perfect.
My only slight criticism would be that only water was available, no snacks or energy drinks, unlike some other events I have done.
I would definitely recommend it to others and may do it again depending on my own personal goals for next year!

Very enjoyable
A fabulous event. Well organised and supported by a highly enthusiastic group of volunteers.
Whilst the course is difficult for beginners, the size of the field, the organisation and ambience will bowl over any newcomer.
A fantastic and challenging half marathon! The scenery was stunning and i will never forget the run up to the Trundle!
A banana would have been welcome after the finish line - but that is only a small thing. Also, what about pace setters?

sorry but the goody bag could be better, and no consideration for people with allergy's (eg a nut allergy )
Great event in stunning countryside
Excellent race, great value.
You could really do with a controlled crossing point to the car park for pedestrians closer to the finish - currently people cross haphazardly nearer the road, blocking runners and dicing with single track traffic coming in and out!

You need parking direction signs to direct participants to the parking area for the college area.
