Can i wear headphones for this event?

Accepted Answer

No, we do not permit headphones or personal listening devices to be used during any of our events. This is for safety and enjoyment for all involved.

Do you offer group discounts?

Accepted Answer

We offer bulk discounts which are handled automatically. Simply enter a group together in one transaction. 

Bulk Entries – additional discounts are available for purchasing multiple tickets at any time, perfect for clubs. 
5 or more = 5% discount
10 or more = 7.5% discount
15 or more = 10% discount
20 or more =12.5% discount

Do you provide swim caps?

Yes, we provide a swim cap at all open water events. You may wear your own providing it is not a dark colour. 

For our pool based event, they are not required so you may wear your own if you prefer.

Question 4

Do I need a race pass for a multi sport event?

Accepted Answer

If you do not hold a current race membership with the home nation (Triathlon England) then you will be required to purchase a Race Pass. A Race Pass is single use and is valid for a single event for a single person, you cannot re-use this. This is included as an add on at the registration page.

Is this event permitted?

Accepted Answer

All our events are permitted and we will follow the rules outlined by the National Governing Body.

If you see the event permit pending in the lead up to the event, this is simply due to the process in which events are validated in the calendar year.

Question 6

What is the water temperature?

Accepted Answer

Guidance will be issued a few days before the event, however we will only take the official temperature on the morning of the event.

Question 7

Do I have to wear a wetsuit for an event?

Accepted Answer

Each event is determined individually, we have no venues where it is mandatory (with the exception of TS1-TS3 athletes) to wear a wetsuit or not, so this is all based on temperatures and conditions in line with Triathlon England guidance.
