pretty little run
Would have preferred to do the out and backs the opposite way round so getting the longer one done first.
Also as I was slow (due to climbing a mountain the day before) I didn't get the medal that I wanted, but a winter one (even though it's autumn)
Apart from that, it was very well organised and I did enjoy it.

Always an enjoyable event with It's Grim Up North. Well organised, everyone is friendly and helpful. Now completed three events with It's Grim Up North and plan to do many more in the future.

A scenic run along a canal - what else would you want to do on a Sunday
First run with GUN, but won't be my last. Being used to events with thousands of runners, I was a little concerned about running in a much smaller group and that every one else may be a bit 'elite'.
However, the friendly registration and the atmosphere around the start quickly eased those concerns. Highly recommend to beginners and experienced runners alike.

Second run with GUN and glad to have come back again. Only note I had was no drinks at turning point for 10m race, as expected. I'll be back again in December for Bingley Baubles

It would maybe be preferred for the medals to display the distance completed and the race name itself? But other than that absolutely perfect in every way!

Steady, fairly flat out and back x2. Low maintenance for marshalls
Registration was understaffed. Disappointing that there was no drink station at the second turning point.
Otherwise a good experience with great cake at the end and a decent medal

Love a Grim event, especially when it’s a PB for me! Such a lovely friendly welcoming atmosphere. Great route and organisation. And as always the best medal and treats at the finish. Thanks again, can’t wait for the next one

Welcoming and well organised
A great event albeit the half was small in number with 27 taking part. Very well organised, great parking nearby, registration was seamless near the start line. Managed a PB but quite mentally challenging as ran 16 out of the 21k completely on my own. Would recommend this company every time. Proper grassroots running and a wonderful community atmosphere. Glad I made the 500 mile round trip from Bridgend!
