I signed up for this event with a small hope that I could run my first-ever marathon. It was a bit scary as I expected a very hilly route but in the end, the route was very enjoyable (Kent is hilly everywhere, haha), the scenery was beautiful, the atmosphere was very friendly with local vibes and I could not choose any better for my first marathon. Lucky plus - the weather was absolutely perfect!

Overall a really great race which gave me my sub 2hr half! Loved the medal design and the t-shirt, it has encouraged some of my running club to enter next year. Undulating course but the downhill finish was excellent.
Lots of water stations on the way around, which was much appreciated. A loo at one of the water points might have been helpful, lots of lads having a wee in the bushes, difficult to do as a lady! But otherwise, amazing scenery and we were very lucky with the weather.

Tough course as a marathon 1st timer, but I knew that before entering. A lovely route and really enjoyable.

Disappointing to have plastic cups at some water stations. Recycled ones better.
Great undulating course, I will be running at this event next year.
Shame about another Nice Work race delay, I've been to two of Nice work events this year and both starts were delayed by 10 minuets due to not enough toilets.... Frustrating!

Where the route cross over with other sections this could have been signed clearer. Especially where there was a water station.
