Next Race: 18/10/2026
Mote Park, Maidstone, ME15 7SX
Great race
Really fantastic event.
Didnt get my tshirt though
Great run
Very well organised and well managed throughout
Hills Glorious Hills
First time running this route.
Didn't know what to expect!
Was surprised by how many small hills there were, but we conquered them and completed with a PB.
Special thanks to all the jolly and encouraging Marshalls and great positioning of water stations - what a life saver.
Thanks again Sporting Events.
Who likes flat roads anyway
Hillier and more challenging than I remember but very enjoyable, friendly and well organised, with many encouraging marshals along the route. Thanks to all.
Undulating half marathon - not a PB course
Great event… lovely route, well organised and super encouraging marshals
Loved it.. a complete mix of a route, some challenging hills, open countryside, and built up areas too. Great support and encouragement from all the marshals who did a fantastic job. Lovely venue with good facilities/parking etc. Surprised myself with a PB
Loved it!
Marshals were amazing, hills were epic but I survived. It’s made me stronger, will try and do again next year.

Challenging hilly half with fantastic views - very well marshalled across the road crossing points
Great fun! Would have loved to have had an outline of the elevation profile ahead of the race but there were some fantastic views from the hill tops. The marshals were amazing - thanks especially to the road-crossing ones managing traffic. Shame that Mote Park let you down by not opening the main car park and we had to leave to avoid getting a parking fine at the leisure centre up the road without being able to take advantage of the post-race atmosphere which looked fun.
Maidstone Hilly Half
The marshals were great as they were: friendly, encouraging and helpful.
A great medal and loved the offer of a free massage at the end.
The route was 70% beautiful whilst the rest was along busy, boring roads.
I woul definitely do the event again.
Great run, challenging hills
Lovely race with great organisers. Hills were a challenge and mainly uphill for first 14km, but downhill to the end is a great reward!
Great Marshall’s, well organised, great route - blooming hilly
Unless I missed them…I didn’t see a loo along the route! Today I was ok but this isnt often the case
A great and challenging half...like no other in Kent. Well worth testing yourself against the hills around Maidstone
Tough course. Great organisation, Marshalls on every corner
Excellent first time half marathon
Fantastic event with a great route (but challenging hills) and amazing, friendly staff. Event village was fun and had everything you need as well as the mote park facilities being excellent. I had a great time for my first ever half marathon. Only comment would be to release event details a bit sooner as had to hurriedly order bone conduction headphones and did not get much time to look around or practice with them.
Challenging hilly route with great atmosphere
Very well organised event with amazing volunteers who did a fantastic job stopping the traffic to allow runners to continue their runs. Lovely scenic route and yeah it’s hilly in places and does present a challenge but with all the support in place it makes it a lot easier. Beautiful medal awarded afterwards, would happily return next year!
Well organised - beware of hills!
Enjoyable route through scenic countryside, more hills than I was expecting, but it was a good challenge! Big thank you to the stewards for direction and encouragement, and also for their bravery in stopping traffic at crossing points!
First ever event and can't wait for another
Awesome hilly route
A really great, enjoyable event. As a Maidstone boy born and bread, I love doing this event and supporting my home town.
A fab route, that's always hillier than I remember.
I did this event in fancy dress and the banter and atmosphere were superb.
Highly recommended and the medal was amazing.
My only complaint is the poor quality of the Sound system. Very hard to hear instructions and music.
But what a day.
Thank you.
Very scenic peaceful run
Was quite a lot of little hills, which is fine is you practice hills and have a good mental attitude towards hills. Not many spectators on route, a few clusters here and there. I would have liked a pacer but also didn’t mind one I got going.
Excellent
Great race if looking for mental and physical resilience. Only entered a couple of days before not realising of the ondulation, but great challenge, my ideal course
