As long as you can cover the 1st 4 miles in under an hour( I did it in 53 minutes )and finished in 3hours 13 minutes. It’s a great run , beautiful scenery , well marked throughout à medal and banana at the finish and a quick dip in the ocean to help thé body after all those hills. Perfect.

What a great event. Excellent communication, very well organised, fantastic volunteers, brilliant atmosphere, beautiful course, much appreciated banana and flapjacks at the end. Thank you. I will be back next year.

Firstly huge kudos to the organisers and the marshals. Think there was a smiling face every 1/2 mile.
Great event, a challenge but not too tough. Well organised, plenty of parking, clear signage and once again a massive thanks to the marshals.

...but not ideal for beginners as it is challenging. However, for trail runs this is as good as it gets - when your fitness and endurance arrives at doing a half like that. 5-star event!

Loved the route - beautiful scenery and away from busy roads. Well organised and friendly. The marshals on the course were fun and encouraging. Bigs thanks to them and to everyone else who made it possible. Great commentary at the end - even played happy birthday for my friend!

Thank you for a wonderful morning. The organisation was fantastic and everyone was so welcoming and friendly. There were so many amazing marshals out on the course who gave me such a boost at every gate and turn - thank you! The commentator at the finish was great and the home made flapjacks were delicious! The course and the incredible views speak for themselves - a really brilliant day.

This was our 2nd time on this one. Loved it. It’s one on our annual list now. Well marked with friendly marshals ( particularly loved the couple on top of the firle hill with their bright snazzy outfits and pom-Pom's). Lovely medal and flapjacks and bananas. I’m a slow runner coming in last at 3h 07 but no probs as long as you get to 4 mile point in less then an hour I took 52 mins and didn’t feel hassled at all.

The run and route is absolutely stunning. Tough, with a good chance of it being windy, plus some challenging climbs, but well worth the views and overall beauty of the course. Well organised, and friendly.
In terms of improvements, It would have been nice to have had the opportunity to buy refreshments in the race HQ before the race such as coffees / teas, or other drinks and snacks, also would be an opportunity for the run to raise addition money for the Rotary. Also, the toilet facilities were limited because of layout in the clubhouse and number of people trying to use them pre-race. Would suggest some additional temporary loos are rented to provide extra capacity. The mens toilet was unfortunately blocked and had a flushing problem.
Overall, a great race, and looking forward to doing it again.

Really well marshalled by very friendly people, great challenging course with phenomenal views. Some big hills which were tough to climb but nice on the way down the other side. Only critic I could say is would have been good to have more toilets,only a single male toilet that was broken.other than that a great event which I look forward to attending again in the future!
