To commemorate 10 years of OSCAR's Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity, take part in this iconic challenge - The Edale Skyline! You'll be summiting 7 main peaks, over roughly 21.5 miles and nearly 1500m of ascent throughout the day. There are lengthy sections of rolling cross country paths in between the peaks and some breathtaking moor-tops. On a clear day you can see the whole route laid out before you!

For younger fundraisers, we have a 'Train & Trek' adventure, where you'll take the train from Hope to Edale and join the whole group a third of the way in so you can motivate the rest of the team and finish all together!

OSCAR's provides ongoing support and care for children with brain tumours and their families, raises awareness of signs and symptoms and funds research into this dreadful disease.  As part of the challenge, the charity is simply asking you to try and raise as much money as possible. If every person taking part can raise £200 each, then the £20,000 fundraising target for the event can be reached.

Directions

We recommend you journey to the area the day before, to make the most of your challenge and to make sure you’re fresh and prepared. We recommend you stay on after too - please don't plan to drive more than an hour after the challenge. Basing yourself close to Hope for this event is the best place for ease of access to the start point.

Parking for the event will be confirmed closer to the time but will be based in or just outside Hope. We encourage you to car share where possible.
