Good event for marathon training.
The event offers two start times for the 20 mile course.
Which I think is very good for us slower runners.
However I found the time marshal very discouraging , telling us how much extra work it was for him etc. Not a good feeling to the start of a very wet day !
As the majority of the runners all looked (and as per the times) were "fast", then the slower runners defiantly need the early start, so not to finish with only the organisers at the finish !

This was so much better organised than the new year 5/10k. Starting line better. Clear starting instructions. Clearer pre race instructions. A very good race.
Good preparation for Marathon training!!
A nice course through Cambridgeshire with a few gentle hills and some lovely villages on the way. Only issues are car parking at the start area (a school) and insufficient toilet facilities at the start area leading to long queues. However, a bit of planning ahead and these issues are easily mitigated and you can enjoy the 20 miler!

10km route a bit boring but timings well organised. Parking difficult.
Parking needs to improve. Have different 10km route rather than 2 x 5km laps
Very well organised from the emails leading up to the event to the team out on the course everything was very good
