Hilly with amazing views
Great event well organised great atmosphere if you like a challenge this is for you :)
Brilliant all round
Lovely scenery, very friendly marshals, loved the food trucks, so much to choose from, plenty of parking and a great atmosphere before and after the race. I'll be back!
Spectacular trail race
Brilliant race and very well organised. The hills were very challenging but many people walked them. Only issue was being sent the wrong postcode which meant that drivers ended up on the other side of town. Also signage to the race may have been helpful. Very nice medal, snacks and drinks at the end.
The kids loved it!
All 3 of the girls loved the fun run and were very impressed by the medal.
They wish they had an official place and time recorded but, that didn't take away from the enjoyment.
A real trail runners challenge
Such a beautiful, scenic run that really showcases the joys of trail running in Sussex.
Hills and amazing views
Awesome scenery, challenging with the Hills but so worth it.
Atmosphere and Marshalls make it amazing!
Really nice and friendly vibe. A few tough climbs, but lovely scenery. Well organised and will come back next year.
Great run and lots of friendly helpful people
Such a perfect way to spend a Sunday morning. It was hard but excellent and well run
A lot of elevation! Fun though!
Really enjoyed the new route, despite that 2nd BIG hill!!
Will be a race known for its hills, views and atmosphere
Don't underestimate this 10k - it's hilly! but beautiful
I've done many events over the years and I don't feel you can beat events put on by running clubs for runners, the others are getting too commercial and seem to forget the basics that runners want (good signage, a friendly encouraging atmos, a clock at he end (not that we had anything left in our legs by then!), useful goody bag, great medal, quick results and an inspiring course). Not in it for profit, just creating great runs for local runners. Highly recommend this 10k over the beautiful South Downs, a proper trail race. I've put 'maybe' for beginners as it is hard with 5 hills so I think you'd need to be able to run at least 5k to enjoy it.
Absolutely beautiful hilly course, well organised and with fantastic marshalls. Will definitely be back next year!
The lady who was marshalling on the second cattle grate was an absoluye star, she was so cheery and encouraging from start to finish and really did give her all to each runner
Excellent and well organised! A hilly adventure - very inclusive and friendly atmosphere.
Brilliantly organised event
Beautifully organised and all staff were friendly and helpful. My son absolutely loved it and was thrilled with his medal. Thank you
