1st 10K really enjoyed it.
Liked the fact that there was a sign at the end of each KM completed.
Thanks for a great event!!

Excellent
Very good course, difficult in parts and will definitely do it next year.

Fantastically well organised scenic fun race
Thanks to all of the volunteers, friendly and encouraging . Also thanks to the cadets who organised the refreshments
Great race in a lovely setting.

Good, fun run but Hilly!
It’s a shame it didn’t start from belchamps as per last year. The walk from Clements hall up to gusted added a lot of time and the route was much more challenging then last year. It was very hard to end on such a big hill when you’re tired from running 10km, especially beginners. That said, I did still really enjoy the race! The atmosphere and the Marshall’s were brilliant and encouraging all the way round.

The people were nice, but the race was chaotic
This review relates to the 2023 event on 4/6/2023:
It was a sunny day and the people were all very friendly but the race itself was chaotic. Problems with this event included the following:
(1) The pre-race briefing was difficult to hear. I don't know if a public address system was in use but if so, it wasn't working.
(2) Despite the pre-race email saying that runners would start in waves, on race-day everyone simply bundled off together, causing congestion and tailbacks. Where I was in the run, the first kilometre was start-stop walking due to all of the congestion.
(c) A mistake with the marshalling meant that different runners ended up running different distances. I ended up running nearly 11 km because some marshal sent me on an extra, unnecessary loop.
Overall, I came away disappointed.

Proper nice 10k trail race
Organisers did a brilliant on the fly job of dealing with the main pack playing follow the leader rather than follow the course
Great In all accounts. Thankyou.
I love this race - done every one so far.
I think the km markers were slightly off. Not so bad at the beginning but the 9km marker was definitely a lot more than 1km from the end and this is when people will start to pick up some pace so needs to be more accurate.
Very good run
This was my first 10k and it was very good.
The only suggestion would be more ladies toilets as there was constantly a big queue up until the race started.
Great coarse
A few of us noted it was short of an official 10k distance. Apparently it was the same last year.
Great course, lovely surroundings
Brilliant
Good organisation, well marshalled.
