Relaxed and friendly
Just one minor thing - there was an area, I think around mile 23 and also on previous laps, where there were no signs for a while and various paths to choose from. I obviously ended up on the right one but worried I hadn't for a while esp as couldn't see any other runners. Perhaps there could be a couple more signs here?

Tough race but great organisation
Friendly, well-run marathon in nice location
Could have been more little yellow flags on the second half of the tamsin trail, for a while I wasn't 100% sure I was on the right trail. It was nice to have food at the water stops but I wasn't banking on it, would have been handy to be told in advance there was food available. could also consider starting earlier given the average temperatures in May these last few years. Great to have a small field, overall highly enjoyable race!

This is a really friendly and enjoyable race. Everyone involved is very encouraging to runners of all abilities. The organisers and marshalls are clearly people who love running and it really comes across. A great race and I'd definitely do it again.

A boutique marathon on a tough but aesthetically pleasing course with enthusiastic volunteers
For 2/3rds of the marathon, I was running alone and it wasn't clear exactly which route to take in one or two places. The food stations were well placed and stocked, the runners were friendly and great to have Vince Cable giving out the medals. Perhaps an extra toilet at the start would be better, but otherwise very well run
fun event, with friendly atmosphere throughout.
Challenging course but worth it for the views.

Thanks so much to the marshalls yesterday - they were friendly and encouraging at every point and had a hard time having to control the traffic too. It was a really tough run for me but got through in the end! Thank you.

Not quite a walk in the park but great fun
I did a couple of bigger city marathons but this was my first smaller event. I was afraid of small events fearing to run all by myself and be the last coming in while everybody is packing up already. The support of the marshals and the atmosphere at the finish were amazing though. It felt like being out on a Club run with your friends. Thanks for this great race. The organisation was spot on.
