I will be back next year. I can't thank the organisers enough for a very special event and day. This was my 75th marathon and the best by far. Perfect in every way even down to supplying 20p for the public toilets when there was a long queue for the portaloos. Thankyou
Very good race excellent atmosphere and organisation
Tough but enjoyable.
The race now starts at 10:00am as opposed to 09:30. I definitely preferred the earlier start time as it felt like having slightly more of my Sunday left afterwards.
these events are great fun and informal when compared to bigger events
This marathon has got better year on year and is a firm favourite with many runners who keep coming back.
A huge thanks to Gareth and Ray who started this marathon and who have turned it into a firm favourite of so many. Also to all of the volunteers and marshals who looked after us runners throughout the day. Can’t wait to come back again -that’s how good this marathon is.
Thanks for getting me through my first marathon! (At age 53!) Really enjoyed it!

Totally frackin’ awesome!
The organisers, marshall’s and other volunteers were totally amazing! This was not only very well organised it had a friendly / family atmosphere and made all runners feel welcome.
This will not be my Richmond Park marathon.
Tough but achievable
It was a great event, friendly Marshalls and also the people at the water station. Very nice route.
On the downside it was tougher than I imagine, hills were tought to run either up or down.
If you are an experienced trail runner this is the event for you.
If it is your first marathon or you are a marathon runner (on plain surface like I am) it is hard.
Overall I enjoyed a lot.
