I was the sweep marshal for the 5k run. It was very muddy and boggy in parts. Nothing unusual for experienced runners, but perhaps could have been mentioned at the start. Good fun!!

Great route…mixed terrain so not for spikes but def trails if wet (super wet when I did it lol almost lost a shoe!) if dry, roadies. Not flat…some ups and downs. Stunning and great volunteers!

EXTREMELY naughty to change the car parking fee the night before the event. Probably nothing to do with the organisers and more about the Forestry Commission? Had to pay an extra £8 on the morning. Very bad form. Great event though.

Unfortunately I did not run as was ill sadly missed as was looking forward to it. Can't wait to do another event there. Nice work always organised well

When we arrived I asked if there was a runner who would be running in front of the kids. I was looked at gone out and told no, there would be Marshall’s on course and the kids could not go wrong.
My son lead the race and went wrong as one of the Marshalls was on their phone so my son ran straight passed him when he needed to turn. My son turned around and went back after the Marshall shouted him.
Every race we have been to there has always been a runner….if nothing else for safety!
We will definitely return it’s just something that you might want to take into consideration when organising the fun races.

It could have been better if the medals were given at the finish line. My little one was wondering where is his medal and we had to go and ask other families where they got their medals from. Other than that it was great!
